Julika is a candidate for a Master’s in Community Planning at Vancouver Island University.

She brings a diverse background in project coordination, food security, marketing, and non-profit management to her role at Wiser Projects. A Community Organizer at heart, she enjoys building relationships with clients, community groups, and the public. Julika most recently worked in food security, running a variety of programming aimed at increasing food access in the Cowichan Region.

As a future planner, her goal is to create vibrant, connected, and resilient communities where everyone is welcome and resources are shared. She is especially interested in housing affordability, climate change adaptation, social planning, and sustainable transportation.
