Having worked with Wiser Projects since April 2024, Julika recently completed her Master of Community Planning at Vancouver Island University.

She brings a diverse background in project coordination, food security, marketing, and non-profit management to her role at Wiser. Before her return to school, Julika worked in food security, running a variety of programming aimed at increasing food access in the Cowichan Region. A Community Organizer at heart, she enjoys engaging and building relationships with clients, community groups, and the public.

As a future planner her goal is to create vibrant, connected, and resilient communities where everyone is welcome, resources are shared, and people become empowered to shape their own futures. She is especially interested in housing affordability and planning for social well-being.
