With a background in non-profit leadership and community development, Sarah is passionate about social inclusion, advocating for equity-based decision making, engaging community, and improving well-being at the neighborhood level.
Sarah enjoys collaborating across industries, connecting individuals, non-profits, private developers, and government to create positive change in communities. Her background in art history (MA Queen’s University) informs her approach to empowering communities through art and placemaking. While in the non-profit sector, Sarah had the opportunity to conduct community-based research, collaborate with academic institutions on policy development, and develop strong facilitation, leadership and communication skills.
