Eleni Gibson (MCP, RPP)

Project Manager

A registered professional planner and a graduate of Vancouver Island University’s (VIU) Master of Community Planning program, Eleni brings passion and an open mind to all her projects. Her planning experience is primarily in housing development and policy, public engagement and facilitation, policy research, and project management. Her professional interests lie in housing of all kinds, active transportation, and healthy community planning.

Eleni brings a range of experience working with the public, non-profit organizations, private developers, and government officials (both provincial and municipal). As a project manager on a wide range of housing projects, Eleni is solutions-oriented and enjoys the creative problem-solving that is required to make projects work.

While at VIU, she completed a fully funded major research project on e-bike use in sprawled communities. Her results informed practical policy recommendations for municipal and provincial governments to promote e-bikes and active transportation. Eleni brings healthy community and equity lenses to her work, and is always looking for ways to improve the quality of life for those in the communities she works in.
