- Development and approval processes for 23-family oriented modular units in partnership with BC Housing, CMHC, Village of Cumberland, Comox Valley Regional District, and Vancouver Island Health Authority

PROJECT SUCCESS
- The project was designed to address the need for affordable family housing rental options in the Comox Valley
- Rezoning was completed and a Development Permit was obtained
- Community support and buy-in were maintained throughout the duration of the project. The project received written and verbal backing from community members throughout municipal processes and in-person communication
- Grant funding was received for Indigenous artwork and building design features, including a wall mural carving and a totem designed and carved by a member of the K’ómoks First Nation
- Over $500,000 in pre-development funding secured
