PROJECT OVERVIEW

Feasibility study to investigate possibilities of co-locating a food bank, warming centre, community kitchen and associated programming in a purpose built space outside of downtown Campbell River. The feasibility study will identify space requirements of all organizations involved, potential governance and finance models – including housing – existing food hub precedents, and City of Campbell River zoning/site requirements. Wiser Projects will engage an architect to create massing models, concepts, and functional programs for one to three options/sites and present the findings to Campbell River Mayor and Council.
